Retired DGP O.P. Singh appointed CEO of Haryana’s new anti-drug body Sankalp

Chandigarh, Sep 29 (UNI) The Haryana government has appointed retired Director General of Police O.P. Singh as chief executive officer of its newly constituted anti-drug body “Sankalp”, which will coordinate the work of 11 government departments to prevent drug abuse, expand treatment and rehabilitation, and promote drug-free villages and urban wards.
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will head the society, while the Additional Director General of Police of the Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau (HSNCB) will serve as its member-secretary, according to a state government notification.
Singh, who retired on December 31, 2025, had held additional charge as Haryana's Director General of Police and had also served as a special adviser during the previous Manohar Lal Khattar government.
