Hyderabad: Kukatpally police arrest five drug peddlers, seize drugs worth Rs one crore

Hyderabad, June 3 (UNI) In a breakthrough, the Kukatpally Police, along with Balanagar Special Operation Team (SOT) arrested five drug peddlers, including a Task Force Police Constable, all from Andhra Pradesh, who were conspiring to sell the Cocaine mixed with Ephedrine, here on Tuesday.
The accused were intercepted near JayaNagar, Kukatpally, while searching for buyers, and a total of 820 grams of drugs worth Rs. One Crore was seized besides five mobile phones from their possession as per NDPS Act procedures, said N. Koti Reddy, I/c Deputy Commissioner of Police, Balanagar Zone, Cyberabad, in a release here.
They were taken into custody and are being produced before the Court.
