Hyderabad, June 23 (UNI) In a significant victory against drug trafficking, The Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) along with police busted an international drug racket by arresting three persons - a Nigerian and two local drug peddlers - police said here Monday.
Based on credible intelligence about a Goa-Hyderabad drug link, TGANB and Narsingi police raided a high-end flat at Alkapur Township in Manikonda, outskirts of the city on Sunday , where a drug transaction was in progress and all three were caught red-handed.
"Seized 107 grams of cocaine and 25 grams of ecstasy pills, along with six mobile phones, altogether worth Rs 30 lakh from their possession, who were allegedly operating an international drug racket from a plush residential complex," police said here.
