AP: National Urological Surgical Workshop begins at SSSIHMS Prasanthigram; Over 70 Surgeries Slated

Putaparthi (Andhra Pradesh), Oct 23 (UNI): A two-day national urological surgical workshop organized by the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences (SSSIHMS) in association with the Urological Society of India (USI) commenced at Prasanthigram here on Friday.
Inaugurating the workshop, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust Managing Trustee R. J. Rathnakar reiterated the founding vision of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba to provide world-class healthcare completely free of cost to all, regardless of caste, creed, or economic background.
Rathnakar noted that the institution's healthcare mission, which started with the establishment of the Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital in 1956 and later expanded into rural areas via mobile hospitals—has consistently maintained uncompromising standards of quality across its facilities.

Six killed as helicopter crashes in Uttarakhand; all bodies recovered

Bengaluru/Dehradun, Oct 30 (UNI) Six people, including a pilot and five passengers from Karnataka, were killed when a civil helicopter operated by Trans Bharat Aviation crashed in the Hathi Parvat area of Uttarakhand on Friday afternoon. The mortal remains of all six victims have been recovered, the Karnataka government said.
