3-day Industrial Innovation and Technology Expo commences in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 27 (UNI) The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), kicked off the three-day 2nd Edition of IITEX 2025- Industrial Innovation & Technology Expo at Hitex Exhibition Centre here on Friday.
The three-day expo which concludes on June 29, showcases innovations that are shaping the future of Indian industry.
In his inaugural address after visiting several stalls and interacting with exhibitors here, Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary, Industries & Commerce, Government of Telangana, emphasised the state’s commitment to fostering innovation-driven industrial growth.
“From Banking and Insurance to Cyber security and Automation, it’s encouraging to see the entire ecosystem represented under one roof. With over 110 exhibitors, IITEX 2025 offers a comprehensive view of industrial innovation,” said Ranjan.
“Modern industry is increasingly driven by start-ups," he said and added that Telangana’s MSME Policy, launched last year, must be implemented effectively now.
He urged FTCCI to take a lead role in converting this policy into action “MSMEs are your strength, and you must translate the policy into actionable initiatives” he added.
Dr. Suresh Kumar Singhal, President of FTCCI, remarked, “the goal of IITEX is to empower industries- especially MSMEs- with the latest technologies, in line with the Government of India’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. It is a fitting tribute that the expo kicks off on the World MSME Day, celebrating the vital role MSMEs play in sustainable growth and innovation.”
The expo enjoys the support from MSME Ministry, Govt. of Telangana, NITI Aayog’s Invest India, NASSCOM, T-Hub, T-Works, NSIC, TGREDCO, AIC, and RICH.
It has dedicated pavilions by NASSCOM and T-Hub featuring over 20 curated startups each.
R. Ravi Kumar, Senior Vice President of FTCCI, said this year’s edition is larger, more diverse, and impactful. It offers a panoramic view of the evolving Indian industrial landscape.”
Vimlesh Gupta, Convenor of the Expo, said “IITEX 2025 is more than an exhibition- it’s a platform for transformation, connecting India’s industrial backbone with the future-forward innovations from startups and tech leaders.”
Bhavani Suresh, MD of Truzon Solar, urged the government to lead by example in promoting sustainability. All government buildings in Telangana must install solar panels. This aligns with the PM Surya Ghar (PMSG) and PM-KUSUM schemes that mandate and encourage solarisation. Telangana has nearly 30,000 schools—solarising them can make a significant impact. Let’s mandate that at least 20% of the components in all new commercial buildings be solar.”
Telangana must catch up with other states offering state-level solar subsidies to fully realize its solar potential, he added.
Margadarsi Chit Fund Pvt. Ltd., a key partner of the event, was represented by its CEO, Mr. Satya Narayana Pathuri.
While IITEX is currently a bi-annual event, FTCCI aims to make it an annual flagship industrial expo in the coming years.
