Woman's body found in suitcase, seven arrested from Bihar

Bengaluru, Jun 9 (UNI) The body of a young woman found stuffed inside a suitcase near a railway track in Surya City on May 21 was identified as that of a Bihar native, with seven accused arrested so far, Bengaluru Rural Superintendent of Police CK Baba said on Monday.
Addressing reporters, SP Baba said the suitcase was discovered near a railway track under Surya City police station limits. The locals alerted the police, who upon opening the suitcase, found the body of a woman.
"Preliminary investigation indicated that the suitcase may have been thrown from a moving train," the SP said. A case of murder was registered immediately, as the body showed signs of strangulation, he added.
