Hyd: Gaddam Venkataswamy’s 97th birth anniversary observed

Hyderabad, Oct 5 (UNI) The 97th birth anniversary of former union Minister and labour leader Gaddam Venkataswamy, popularly known as Kaka, was observed in Hyderabad on Monday.
State Minister Vivek Venkataswamy, along with family members, paid floral tributes at Kaka’s statue on Tank Bund. Bellampalli MLA Gaddam Vinod Kumar also garlanded the statue.
Recalling Kaka’s contributions, Minister Vivek said he had worked tirelessly for the welfare of poor people, workers and weaker sections. The Telangana government is officially observing Kaka Jayanti.

No proposal to privatise Telangana power utilities: Dy CM Bhatti
