Shivakumar’s 100 days put Karnataka’s post-Siddaramaiah phase to test

Bengaluru, Sep 9 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar’s completion of 100 days in office on Thursday is set to put the State’s post-Siddaramaiah political phase to an early test, with the ruling Congress seeking to project continuity and performance while the BJP prepares to question whether the change in leadership has translated into a change in governance.
Shivakumar will mark the milestone with a programme at Vidhana Soudha, where former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been invited to inaugurate the event. The presence of Siddaramaiah is significant as the Congress seeks to send a message of unity following the leadership transition.
The programme is expected to showcase the government’s implementation of the five guarantee schemes, infrastructure initiatives, citizen services and its priorities for the next phase of administration.
