Minister Bandi Sanjay slams false propaganda, challenges BRS on BC representation

Hyderabad, June 30 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar today dismissed allegations that TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu influenced the BJP's state leadership decisions, calling them baseless and part of a malicious social media campaign.

He warned that strict action would be taken against those spreading false propaganda.

Addressing media at the BJP state office, Sanjay asserted that BJP is a cadre-based party driven by ideology, not individual influence. He criticised internal and external voices suggesting that the party's fate hinges on specific leaders, calling such narratives “foolishness.”

Responding to questions over BC representation, he took a dig at the BRS, challenging former Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) to hand over the party president's post to a BC leader and reminding the public of the unfulfilled promise of a Dalit CM.

He underlined that the BJP has consistently given key roles to BC and Dalit leaders, unlike the BRS which, he alleged, has no moral right to raise such questions.
