TTD Launches Venkatadri App to Improve Digital Services for Devotees

Tirumala, Oct 13 (UNI) The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has launched the Venkatadri App to provide devotees with comprehensive information on services at Tirumala in a concise and user-friendly format, TTD IT Wing General Manager Venkateswarulu Naidu said on Tuesday.
Briefing the media on the activities of the IT wing at the Media Centre here, he said TTD was leveraging information technology, including an AI-driven Command and Control Centre, to improve the Srivari Darshan experience.
TTD was also planning to strengthen traffic management at the Alipiri checkpoint by introducing an automated number-plate verification system. A QR code-based verification facility had been introduced for gallery passes issued during the ongoing Srivari Navaratri Brahmotsavams, he said.
Clarifying concerns circulating on social media regarding the booking of Rs. 300 Special Entry Darshan (SED) tickets, Naidu said the online quota was limited, while demand was nearly 10 times higher.
He said TTD was regularly identifying and blocking third-party websites that allegedly used automated form-filling and copy-paste tools to generate fake SED tickets.
Such fraudulent operations were being detected and blocked, with the websites banned where necessary, he added.
Naidu said TTD was deploying technology to facilitate devotees and strengthen the security and reliability of its digital services.
Devotees facing difficulties or seeking clarification could contact the TTD helpline for assistance, he said.
