Telangana: Record 525 Gurukula students from underprivileged backgrounds qualify for JEE Advanced 2025

Hyderabad, Apr 19 (UNI) In a landmark achievement for Telangana’s social welfare education system, a record 525 students from the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS) have qualified for the JEE Advanced 2025.
This unprecedented milestone marks the highest number of qualifiers in the institution’s history and is being celebrated as a golden chapter in the evolution of the Gurukula education system.
Most of these high-performing students come from underprivileged backgrounds, including families of daily wage workers, sanitation staff, and marginalised Dalit communities.
