'We will promote cottage industries and build healthy Telangana': Dy CM

Hyderabad, June 25 (UNI) Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu stated that the Telangana government will actively promote cottage industries, which can generate large-scale employment and income.
Speaking to the media today after inaugurating stalls set up for the exhibition and sale of BC artisans’ handmade products under the aegis of the BC Welfare Department at Tank Bund, he emphasised that the goods produced by artisans and traditional craftsmen serve great utility to society.
He said the government is committed to encouraging such handmade products as part of building a healthy Telangana. The exhibition will continue from the 25th to the 29th of this month, featuring products not only from Hyderabad but also from other districts related to various cottage industries. The Deputy CM urged the public to make good use of the exhibition.
