Panchkula shooter Raiza Dhillon wins Asian Games bronze in women’s skeet team event

Panchkula, Sep 23 (UNI) Panchkula shooter Raiza Dhillon won a bronze medal in the women’s skeet team event at the Asian Games, with her mother crediting years of gruelling practice, discipline and family support for the achievement.
The Indian trio of Dhillon, Maheshwari Chauhan and Parinaaz Dhaliwal finished with an aggregate score of 331 to claim the bronze medal.
Dhillon also came close to an individual medal but finished fourth, missing the podium by one bird.

Dublin, Sep 28 (UNI) Ed Joyce joins the Ireland men’s senior side as their high-performance batting coach, after spending nearly six years at the helm for the women’s side as their head coach before stepping down in early 2025.
Joyce, regarded as one of the best batsmen to come out of the Irish cricket system, enjoyed an illustrious career with the national setup between 2011 and 2018.
