Analysts power India's data-driven build-up

Beckenham, Jun 15 (UNI) As India's intra-squad four-day game got underway in Beckenham, it wasn’t just the players fine-tuning their skills, behind the scenes, the performance analysts played a key role, setting up data capture systems to support targeted simulation drills for both batsmen and bowlers.
Speaking about the preparations, Hari Prasad Mohan, Performance Analyst for Team India, said the match, unlike broadcasted fixtures, required independent arrangements to ensure all performance data could be logged and analysed.
"Since this isn’t a televised game, we had to set up all the cameras ourselves. We’re using mobile phone-based cameras to get the feed before the game. The setup is simple, and the devices are extremely handy. They don’t need external power since they work via LAN cable," he explained.
