Boca Juniors, Rytas Vilnius claim their opening victory at FIBA Intercontinental Cup

Beijing, Sep 23 (UNI) Argentina's Boca Juniors and Lithuania's Rytas Vilnius won over Beijing Royal Fighters and RSSB Tigers from Rwanda, respectively, as the 2026 FIBA Intercontinental
Cup kicked off here.
The Royal Fighters had a slow start on home court, while the Boca Juniors controlled the pace to finish the first quarter 24-22. Although the Boca Juniors didn't find rhythm in three-pointers, they had a smooth teamwork to extend the lead to 16 points at halftime on Tuesday.
