Pezzolano leaves Internacional amid relegation threat

Rio De Janeiro, Sep 22 (UNI) Uruguayan manager Paulo Pezzolano has parted ways with Internacional as the club battles to avoid relegation to Brazil's Serie B.
The announcement followed a 1-0 loss at Sao Paulo on Saturday, a result that left the Porto Alegre-based side 18th in the 20-team Serie A standings with 10 matchdays remaining.
The 43-year-old will be replaced on an interim basis by assistant coach Pablo Fernandez, Internacional said.

Dublin, Sep 28 (UNI) Ed Joyce joins the Ireland men’s senior side as their high-performance batting coach, after spending nearly six years at the helm for the women’s side as their head coach before stepping down in early 2025.
Joyce, regarded as one of the best batsmen to come out of the Irish cricket system, enjoyed an illustrious career with the national setup between 2011 and 2018.
