Asian Games experience to boost Talwar, Ahlawat and Sandhu at India Championship

New Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) Saptak Talwar, Veer Ahlawat and Yuvraj Sandhu will look to turn their recent international experience into strong performances at the India Championship, which gets underway at Delhi Golf Club from October 15 to 18.
The trio competed against some of Asia’s leading golfers at the Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, where India finished sixth in the team event without winning a medal. Talwar and Ahlawat shared sixth place in the individual competition, while Sandhu finished tied-24th.
The experience of competing against a strong field, including South Korea’s Tom Kim, who won the individual gold, and Japan’s Keita Nakajima, could prove useful as the Indians prepare for another demanding test at home.
