IndiaFirst Life Insurance Reaffirms Support for Kenyan Cricketer Pushkar Sharma

Mumbai, Apr 26 (UNI) IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company Ltd has reiterated its support for former employee and now Kenyan international cricketer Pushkar Sharma, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing talent beyond the corporate sphere.
Pushkar, who was employed with IndiaFirst Life before pursuing his cricketing career, has received sustained encouragement from the private insurer, which prides itself on an employee-first culture.

The Indian-born all-rounder delivered key performances for Kenya during the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Challenge League 2024, scoring a maiden half-century (60 off 75 balls) against Denmark and following up with a brisk 50 from 45 balls against Kuwait. He finished as Kenya’s second-highest scorer and fifth overall in the tournament with 195 runs in five matches at an average of 39.00.
Pushkar is expected to play a leading role when Kenya competes in the second round of the ICC Cricket World Cup Challenge League A, slated to be held in Jersey in August.
