The world No. 1 showcased his dominance on Court Philippe-Chatrier, dispatching Norrie in just over two hours. This victory not only marks his 100th at Roland-Garros but also surpasses his previous best of 99 match wins at the Australian Open, making the French Open his most successful Grand Slam in terms of match victories.
At 38, Djokovic becomes the oldest man to reach the quarterfinals at Roland-Garros since Istvan Gulyas in 1971. He has now reached the quarterfinals in Paris for 16 consecutive years, boasting a perfect 19-0 record in fourth-round matches at the tournament.
