Afghanistan opt to field as India eye series clean sweep

New Delhi, Sept 17 (UNI) Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bowl against India in the third and final T20I at the Arun Jaitley Stadium here on Thursday.
India, who have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, made one change to their playing XI, with Yash Thakur replacing Arshdeep Singh.
India captain Shreyas Iyer said he would have preferred to bat first but welcomed the challenge of chasing.
"It also gives us a fun challenge. It's important that we stick to the moment and not complicate things," Iyer said after the toss.
Afghanistan captain Ibrahim Zadran said his side had reflected on the areas that went wrong in the opening two matches despite having already lost the series.
"There will be some support for the bowlers at the start. We have lost the series but we have thought about the areas where we haven't done well. India are one of the best teams. We want to keep things easier for us," Zadran said.
Afghanistan made two changes to their side for the final match.
