Bomb threat on plane, IndiGo makes emergency landing in Nagpur

Nagpur, June 17 ( UNI) An IndiGo flight from Kochi to Delhi made an emergency landing in Nagpur on Tuesday morning following a bomb threat. Security forces evacuated the passengers safely and conducted a thorough checking of the plane.
After receiving the bomb threat, an emergency meeting was immediately called as per the prescribed protocol, in which it was determined that the threat was serious as the flight number was also clearly mentioned. By then, the flight taking off from Kochi was diverted to Nagpur airport for security reasons.
Further investigations are ongoing .
