Dawood Ibrahim's  close aide Tariq Parveen released from jail

Mumbai, May 14 (UNI) Underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's close aide Tariq Parveen was released from Taloja Jail in Panvel area of new Mumbai city after the Bombay high court granted him bail in an extortion case, police sources said here on Wednesday.
According to police Parveen along with another accused and Salim Penwala alias Salim Maharaj were arrested under the stringent Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) in connection with an extortion case where gangster Ejaz Ladkawala had demanded Rs 2 crore from a South Mumbai dry fruits businessman in 2013.
According to officials, Parveen, was deported from Dubai to India in 2004 and was arrested in connection with the illegal construction of the Sara Sahara shopping complex in Crawford Market.

Mumbai, May 20 (UNI) The police in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district announced on Tuesday that they have arrested three women Naxalites and detained two minors from the Binagunda area in the Bhamragarh subdivision in a joint counter-offensive campaign with the Central Reserve Police Force. They were collectively carried a reward of Rs 36 lakh on their heads, officials said.
