MIT ADT University Cycle Wari

Pune, June 25 (UNI) Amidst chants of Dnyanoba-Tukoba, the Cycle Wari organized by MIT Art, Design and Technology University (MIT-ADT), Pune, was successfully completed with immense enthusiasm and devotion for the fourth year in a row.
Students, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and female participants of the university took part in this spiritual and socially impactful initiative with great zeal.
The Cycle Wari began from Loni-Kalbhor and covered a challenging distance of 220 kilometres to Pandharpur in a single day, said a university release here.
The journey, which blended devotion, environmental awareness, and a strong social message, was undertaken by a group of 35 cyclists following the traditional Sant Dnyaneshwar Palkhi route, under the guidance of national rowing coach Prof Sandeep Bhapkar.
The event was flagged off by Prof Dr Mangesh Karad, Executive President of MIT-ADT University; Prof. Dr. Sunita Karad, Executive Director; Prof. Dr. Rajesh S., Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Ramchandra Pujeri, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Mohit Dubey; Dr. Mahesh Chopade, Registrar; and Dr. Suraj Bhoyar, Director of Student Welfare.
During the wari, cyclists spread messages of “Drug-Free India”, “World Peace,” and “Healthy Lifestyle”, added the release.
