Maha: Govt provides Rs 3 crore to set up 'Laser Show' at Indian Army base in Dras

Mumbai, June 22 (UNI) In order to introduce the bravery of the Indian Army to the next generations at the battlefield of Kargil War, Dras, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday handed over a cheque of Rs three crore, as promised last year, to the officers of the Indian Army to set up a 'Laser Show' at Army base in Dras.
On occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Kargil War, the 'Sarhad Shauryathon-2025' competition organised jointly by the Indian Army, Sarhad Sanstha, Pune and the Araham Foundation was flagged off by Deputy CM Shinde and Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, said a release issued by Deputy CM Shinde office here.
Three thousand runners from all over the country participated in the Shauryathon competition, which was organised to salute the bravery, courage and sacrifice of the Indian Army officials and troops.

Maha govt announces subsidy of Rs 1 5 lakh to farmers for purchase of tractors
