Is Mahayuti govt trying to turn Maharashtra into a Taliban-like state: Congress

Mumbai, Mar 24 (UNI) Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Harshavardhan Sapkal wondered on Monday whether the ruling Mahayuti intended to turn Maharashtra into a Taliban-like state.
Speaking to mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan here, Sapkal said comedian Kunal Kamra did not take anyone’s name in his show, and yet Shiv Sena (Shinde) chief Eknath Shinde’s workers resorted to vandalism.
"The attackers belong to a constituent party of the government. Do they not trust the government, the Constitution, the law, and the Home Department and Why did they take the law into their own hands?" he asked.
