Hamas releases video showing rescue of Israeli hostage after tunnel bombing in Gaza

Gaza, Apr 26 (UNI) Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, on Saturday released a video purportedly showing the rescue of an Israeli hostage following the bombing of a tunnel by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip a few days ago.
Posted on Hamas' official Telegram channel, the video appears to document part of a rescue operation by Al-Qassam fighters. In the footage, fighters are seen digging through the rubble of a collapsed tunnel using their hands and basic tools under difficult field conditions.
A barefoot individual, identified as an Israeli hostage, is shown being pulled from the debris, appearing exhausted and immobile. The video also shows the person receiving a respirator to assist with breathing.
No additional information regarding the individual's condition or identity was provided by Al-Qassam. The authenticity of the footage has not been independently verified, and the Israeli army has not commented on the video.
A few days ago, the Israeli military announced that it had targeted and bombed a network of tunnels across different areas of the Gaza Strip, describing them as being used for "military purposes."
The release of the video comes as fierce clashes continue between Israel and Palestinian factions in Gaza, amid ongoing regional and international efforts to broker a ceasefire.
