US, Argentina launch infrastructure corridor linking minerals, energy to Atlantic ports

New York, Sep 24 (UNI) The United States and Argentina launched a new infrastructure initiative aimed at connecting the South American country's mineral-rich northwest and Vaca Muerta energy basin with Atlantic ports and Western markets.
The Andes-Atlantic Corridor, announced on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly high-level week, will focus on rail, pipelines, ports, power and digital infrastructure.
The initiative is intended to help attract investment into Argentina's energy and mining sectors, including lithium, copper, oil and natural gas, while expanding opportunities for U.S. companies and easing transportation and energy bottlenecks.
