Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 22,000 killed in Russia's Kursk Region: Source

Kursk, Apr 5 (UNI) Ukraine's armed forces lost 22,000 people killed in Russia's Kursk Region, a source in the Sever (North) group of forces told Sputnik.

"The enemy's total losses exceed 72,000 people, of which 22,000 were killed and more than 50,000 were wounded. These figures are astounding," the source said.

In March, the Russian Armed Forces launched a large-scale offensive in the Kursk Region, which resulted in the liberation of the town of Sudzha and a number of other inhabited localities. Currently, units of the North group of forces are developing the offensive and pushing out Ukrainian groups from the entire territory of the Kursk Region.
