US and Japan extend Science and Technology agreement idefinitely

Tokyo, Oct 3 (UNI) The United States and Japan have agreed to extend their bilateral Science and Technology Agreement indefinitely, reaffirming long-term cooperation between the two countries in research, development and emerging technologies.
The protocol extending and amending the US-Japan Agreement on Cooperation in Research and Development in Science and Technology was signed in Tokyo on Friday.
Assistant to the President and Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy Michael Kratsios signed for the United States, while Japan’s Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu signed on behalf of Tokyo.
