Op Sindhu: First batch of 161 Indian nationals evacuated from Israel set to arrive tonight

New Delhi, June 23 (UNI) Taking forward Operation Sindhu, a first batch of 161 Indian nationals evacuated from Israel, is set to arrive in Delhi tonight.

These passengers were evacuated from Israel and moved to Amman, Jordan, by road.

Their flight is set to arrive at 11.30 pm, the Ministry of External Affairs said.

India has so far been evacuating its nationals from Iran and has so far evacuated over 1,700 Indians from Mashhad.

India had asked those Indian nationals in Israel who wish to be evacuated to contact the Indian Embassy there.
