LUCKNOW, SEPT 29 (UNI):-A series of photographs captures the daily struggles of residents in Daudnagar, Faizullaganj, Lucknow, on Tuesday. Continuous rainfall over the previous week caused the Gomti River to rise dramatically, flooding vast residential areas. The images show a heavily inundated cityscape from rooftops, school children, women, and elderly residents navigating knee- to waist-deep floodwaters in submerged streets, and people using small boats for essential commuting. Floodwater has entered many homes, displacing families and disrupting all normal life in the region.
