PM conversation with Shukla energises entire ISS crew, huge motivation for Team ISRO : Jitendra

Chennai, June 28 (UNI) Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Jitendra Singh said
Prime Minister Narendra Modi's conversation with Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla,
who piloted the AX-4 Mission and now docked in ISS, has not only energised the entire crew
in ISS but also a huge motivation for entire ISRO team.
In a post on X, he wrote PM Sh @NarendraModi’s conversation with Shubhanshu Shukla
has not only energised the entire crew onboard International Space Station #ISS, but is
also a huge motivation for the entire Team #ISRO."
ISRO Chairman V Narayanan said PM's interaction with Shukla inspires and motivates
140 crore Indian citizens.
The outcome of this ISS Mission will contribute for the India's first human space flight
Gaganyaan programme.
In X, he posted "First Indian Gaganyatri Shubhanshu Shukla was received in the International
Space Station on June 26, 2025. Today is the historical day when he had interaction with Hon’ble
PM of India Shri Narendra Modi Ji."
"This interaction of Prime Minister inspires and motivates 140 crore citizens of Bharat. Outcome
of this ISS mission will contribute for the Indian Gaganyaan Programme. V Narayanan, Chairman
ISRO/Secretary DoS/Chairman Space Commission".
ISRO which had not officially made any statement on Shukla's mission at a time when the entire
country was celebrating the feat, after three days in a post today that was dated June 26 said
"Axiom Mission 4 successfully docked with the @Space_Station on 26 June 2025 at 16:15 hrs IST."
"Team ISRO, led by Secretary, Department of Space and Chairman, ISRO, witnessed the historical
moment from the Mission Control Room at @NASA_Johnson, Houston", ISRO wrote.
"Welcome ceremony of Axiom 4 Crew completed on ISS. Mission pilot Shubhanshu Shukla is
634th Astronaut to be in Space", it said.
"Heartiest congratulations to @Axiom_Space, @NASA, @SpaceX, and all international partners
on this achievement!#Ax4 #ISRO #ISS #HumanSpaceflight", the post said.
