Prashant welcomes Chirag's move to contest Bihar assembly elections

Patna, June 1 (UNI) Amid intense speculations over Union Minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) President Chirag Paswan contesting next Bihar assembly elections, " Jan Suraaj " Prashant Kishor welcomed his move and said it would be good for Bihar politics.
Kishor during his " Badlao Yatra " in Gopalganj, told media persons that Paswan was never seen indulged in politics of caste and creed. It would be good if he decided to contest Bihar assembly elections, he remarked.
" I welcome him if he takes decision to contest Bihar assembly elections", Jan Suraaj leader said adding that it did not matter whether he would contest from reserved seat or general seat. It would be good for Bihar politics, he reiterated while replying to repeated queries of media persons.regsrding possibility of Chirag to contest Bihar assembly elections.
Earlier during the day, Arun Bharti, brother-in-law of Chirag Paswan, who is party MP from Jamui, posted on social media account X that a formal request was made to him to contest Bihar assembly elections. In executive committee meeting of the party, a request was placed and passed unanimously urging Paswan to contest state assembly elections.
Paswan himself had recently told media persons that he could contest Bihar assembly elections. If party decided for him to contest state assembly elections, then he would consider, he had stated.
