Seclore, Glean partner on AI data security

Bengaluru, Aug 27 (UNI) Enterprise data security company Seclore has announced an integration between its ARMOR Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) platform and Glean, an enterprise AI platform, aimed at helping regulated organisations identify, classify and protect sensitive data across their digital environments.
The integration combines Glean’s enterprise data and contextual capabilities with Seclore ARMOR’s Data Security Intelligence layer, enabling context-aware sensitivity classification and providing controls to act on identified risks, the company said.
ARMOR DSPM uses data and metadata indexed through Glean’s Enterprise Graph as inputs for its classification engine. It assigns sensitivity, information type and exposure risk based on the contents of individual files, while also mapping the classification context to regulatory frameworks including GDPR, HIPAA and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act.
According to Seclore, the approach enables classification across the breadth of systems already indexed by Glean, rather than requiring organisations to undertake a separate discovery process across only a subset of their data estate.
The integration also links identification with remediation. Once sensitive data is classified, customers can use ARMOR’s remediation capabilities, including enterprise digital rights management (EDRM), persistent file-level encryption and usage controls that remain attached to files as they move across users, systems and external recipients.
Access controls can also be applied based on the sensitivity and context of the data, allowing organisations to regulate who can open, share or modify sensitive information.
A key feature of the integration is the ability of ARMOR DSPM to write classification labels directly onto source files. The labels remain with the files across indexing cycles and different systems and can be read by platforms that access the files, including Glean.
Seclore said this persistent approach is particularly relevant to organisations in financial services, healthcare, legal services and government, where enterprises are seeking to accelerate the adoption of AI while maintaining stringent data security and compliance controls.
The company said the integration can accelerate sensitivity classification by using Glean’s indexed enterprise data, while ARMOR connectors can be deployed where remediation actions are required.
“Glean has built the industry's most comprehensive enterprise AI platform, and the enterprise context graph at its core indexes data across every system the enterprise relies on. With ARMOR, Glean customers get sensitivity classification across that same breadth, EDRM-based protection that travels with the file, and a defensible compliance posture that holds up across regulators. For regulated industries, that means a faster path from identification to control,” Seclore CEO Dr Vishal Gauri said.
Glean Vice-President of Partnerships Zubin Irani said regulated industries were seeking to move faster with AI while maintaining confidence in how sensitive information was handled.
“By combining Glean’s enterprise context layer with Seclore ARMOR, customers can identify important data with more context, connect those insights to the right controls, and bring AI into more regulated workflows with greater confidence,” Irani said.
The integration is available now to organisations running ARMOR DSPM and Glean, Seclore said.
