Kolkata, Apr 14 (UNI) Altogether 200 miscreants have been arrested for allegedly indulging in violence during a protest against the Waqf Amendment Act, in Murshidabad district, ADG Law & Order Javed Shamim said on Monday.
He told reporters that no one would be spared, and legal action would be taken against all people found involved in violence last week.
He said the internet services have been suspended to contain a misinformation campaign on social media from outside the state.
