SEIL Energy’s employees plant 1000 saplings

Nellore, June 5 (UNI) SEIL Energy India Limited, one of the largest independent power producers (IPP) in India, on Thursday celebrated World Environment Day by organizing a mega plantation drive at its Supercritical Thermal Power Generation Complex. The initiative aims to promote environmental sustainability, reduce carbon footprint, and contribute to a greener future.

On this occasion, SEIL Energy's employees, led by Sunil Kumar Gupta, Head, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), came together to plant 1,000 saplings as part of Vanamahotsavam, showcasing the company's commitment to environmental stewardship. The plantation drives not only enhanced the green cover but also underscored the importance of protecting our planet for future generations.

SEIL Energy's mega plantation drive is part of its ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and reduce its environmental footprint. The company remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting the environment and contributing to a healthier planet for all. The company has planted more than 1.2 million saplings to date in and around its area of operations.

Through this initiative, SEIL Energy reaffirms its dedication to sustainability and environmental conservation, aligning with the United Nations' theme (Ending plastic pollution globally) for World Environment Day. A team of SEIL Employees also organized Mypadu Beach cleaning activity under the guidance of the AP Pollution Control Board and participated in the green rally today in Nellore city.
