Türkiye urges immediate halt to Israeli attacks, supports Gaza reconstruction

Ankara, Apr 11 (UNI) Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Friday called for an immediate cessation of Israeli military operations, emphasising the necessity of a permanent ceasefire and the reconstruction of Gaza.
"We reject any plan to force Palestinians to leave their homeland. We support the plan for the reconstruction of Gaza adopted by the Arab League," he said.
The Turkish foreign minister made the remarks during a joint press conference following a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and Arab League Ministerial Committee, held on the sideline of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF).
