Telangana CM instruct officials to expedite land acquisition for Future City

Hyderabad, June 28 (UNI) Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday evening instructed the officials to expedite land acquisition for the proposed Future City, which is coming up 30,000 acres.

Revanth Reddy, who cond6 a review of the Industries Department at his Jubilee Hills residence here, inquired with the officials about the status of the land acquisition for Future City and stressed that it should be completed quickly to take up the proposed projects in the new city.

As part of the development of the Future city, the CM said that an integrated sports complex should be established and also appoint International level sports architects for the integrated sports complex.

The sports complex should be developed in a way that it should accommodate all sports like Cricket, Football, Golf etc, the CM said.

The CM, who also reviewed the progress in the land acquisition for NIMZ ( National Investment and Manufacturing Zone) and required space to set up more Data Centers, ordered the officials to focus more on establishing the data centers and identify required space to set up the new facility.

The Chief minister also instructed the officials to convince the farmers for land acquisition for industrial development.

Asserting that every industrialist who visits Telangana should be convinced to invest in the state, the CM said that the cabinet sub-committee on mega projects should meet every 15 days and discuss the proposed projects.

The officials briefed the CM about the establishment of 70 Global Capability Centers in 2024 and 25 Centers in 2025.

The CM emphasized that more centers should be established. The Officials were also instructed to prepare a 100-day plan and work out.

State IT and Industry minister D Sridhar Babu, CM Advisor V Narender Reddy, Special Secretary to the Chief Minister Ajith Reddy. Special Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar, Director of Industries Nikhil Chakravarthy, TGICC Vice Chairman Shashanka and other officials wete present.
