Telangana Govt stands with youth: Bhatti Vikramarka distributes job letters to new recruits

Hyderabad, Apr 4 (UNI) Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Friday reaffirmed the government’s commitment to the aspirations of unemployed youth, stating that the true success of the state’s formation lies in providing jobs to those who fought for it.Speaking at an event in Cyber Garden, Hyderabad, Bhatti Vikramarka handed over appointment letters to newly recruited Divisional Accounts Officers (through TGPSC) in the Finance Department, and others including Junior Assistants, Junior Plant Attendants, Office Subordinates, and Housekeepers appointed under the landless quota at the Yadadri Thermal Power Station in Veerlapalem, Nalgonda district.
“Our Praja government believes that jobs bring not just financial security but dignity,” he said. “Since coming to power, we’ve issued appointment orders to 59,000 youth, and we are committed to extending opportunities to every unemployed individual.”
He announced the launch of Rajiv Yuva Vikas Yojana, a Rs 9,000 crore initiative to support self-employment for youth who have not yet secured government jobs. “Never before in Telangana’s history has such a large amount been allocated in a single year for youth empowerment,” he noted.
The Deputy CM also spoke of efforts to create jobs in the private sector, highlighting the growth of Hyderabad's IT ecosystem—initially seeded by former CM Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy and further developed by successive governments. He said Hyderabad is now a global city, with top companies setting up offices and creating employment for lakhs of youth.
He added that the government is working on the expansion of Hyderabad's infrastructure, including the development of a Future City, the establishment of Skill and Sports Universities, and improved connectivity between the Outer Ring Road and Regional Ring Road.
He reminded the audience of CM Revanth Reddy’s MoUs worth Rs 1.84 lakh crore signed at Davos, aimed at expanding Hyderabad and attracting global institutions.
On the Yadadri Thermal Power Project, he stated, “We promised to provide jobs to those displaced by the project. Today, 112 eligible individuals have received appointment letters, fulfilling that commitment.” UNI VV AKT SSP
