Telangana: Public trust must be converted into electoral support: says AICC In-Charge Meenakshi

Hyderabad, June 5 (UNI) AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan on Thursday told Congress public representatives that public trust must be converted into electoral support.
Addressing a review meeting on Mahabubnagar Parliamentary Constituency at Gandhi Bhavan here, Meenakshi said that welfare schemes must be effectively communicated to the public.
The positive impact of schemes is visible on the ground, she said that all party leaders should work in coordination.
Speaking at the meeting, TPCC President &MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud said the leaders should explain government schemes clearly and directly to people in their respective constituencies.
Senior and junior leaders should move forward in coordination, he said that local issues should be addressed proactively.
Welfare schemes are being implemented in a way that surprises the nation, he added.
MLAs, MLCs, and key Congress leaders were present in the review meeting.
