Tehran, June 4 (UNI) Three Indian men from Punjab, who had gone untraced in Iran, have been found by the police, local media said.
The kidnapping of the three Indian men was reported to Tehran police on May 1, Mehr News Agency said.
The three men, who had halted in Iran on way to Australia, were lured by a local travel company with the promise of lucrative jobs in the kangaroo land.
Tehran-based Tasnim news Agency said that the three men had been freed in a police operation against the hostage takers in Varamin in south Tehran.
