Three Tripura residents died in Bengaluru; families seek help to bring bodies back

Agartala, Oct 22 (UNI) The tragic deaths of three residents from Tripura in Bengaluru have left their families not only grappling with overwhelming grief but also facing significant financial difficulties as they endeavour to repatriate the remains of their loved ones back to their home state.
As the cause of death remains uncertain and is yet to be definitively established, the bereaved families have urgently reached out to both the State Government and the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (ADC) for immediate financial and administrative support.
The individuals who have passed away have been identified as Sajjit Debbarma (43), Laxmi Debbarma (22), and Parikshit Debbarma (33), all of whom had travelled to Bengaluru in hopes of securing employment and improving their living conditions.
However, the news of their premature deaths has cast a pall of sorrow over their families and surrounding communities, triggering a period of mourning. Family members have expressed that the specifics regarding the deaths are still shrouded in uncertainty, and they continue to await official updates concerning the circumstances that led to this unfortunate incident.
The lack of clear information has exacerbated the worry and distress of the relatives, who are desperately seeking to understand the exact reasons behind the deaths. Moreover, the financial burden associated with transporting the deceased bodies from Bengaluru back to Tripura is far beyond the means of the families.
Consequently, they have appealed for assistance from both the state government and the ADC authorities to facilitate the return of the bodies to their hometowns for proper final rites.
