Thunderstorm with lightning, strong winds likely in north coastal AP in next 5 days

Amaravati, June 18 (UNI) Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning are likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam during the next five days, Meteorological Centre said on Wednesday.

In a daily weather report here, it said that strong winds with speeds of 40- 50 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next five days.

Hot and humid conditions are likely to prevail at Isolated places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the same period.

Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at one or two places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Rayalaseema during the next seven days.

Rain occurred at one or two places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema during the last 24 hours, the report added.
