Thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds likely in Telangana over next 5 days: Met Dept

Hyderabad, May 19 (UNI) Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds with speeds ranging from 30–40 kmph are likely to occur at isolated places across Telangana during the next five days, the Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In its daily weather report, the Centre stated that light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places or at a few locations across the state over the next seven days.
Maximum temperatures are expected to remain below normal by 3–5 degrees Celsius in Telangana for the next three days.
Heavy rainfall was recorded at isolated places in Narayanpet district during the past 24 hours, while a few other parts of the state also received rain during the same period.
The highest maximum temperature of 39.8 degrees Celsius was recorded at Adilabad, the report added.
