Hyderabad, May 16 (UNI)Union Coal Minister and State BJP President G Kishan Reddy on Friday appealed to leaders, elected public representatives, individuals, and organisations to turn up in large numbers for the Tiranga Yatra to be organized in the city on Saturday evening.

This was not a political programme and it was being organised to give tribute to our invincible armed forces for victoriously suppressing our enemy and performance in ‘ Operation Sindoor’, Kishan Reddy said in a press conference here.

We have planned a Tiranga Yatra under the banner Citizens for National Security – Operation Sindoor, to express solidarity to our armed forces and to stand by them, he said and appealed to people to participate in the Yatra..

The Tiranga Yatra, which will start from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Statue near Tank Bund, will culminate at the statue of Swami Vivekananda on Tank Bund.

There will be no BJP flags, posters, scarves or any other party paraphernalia at the programme, he added.
