UP BJP to launch 'Save Democracy-Remove Anarchy' padyatra from Nov 3 against 'opposition conspiracy'

Lucknow, Oct 26 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch the 'Save Democracy-Remove Anarchy' campaign from November 3, reaching out to the public to "expose the opposition's false political agenda and double standards" regarding constitutional values and electoral processes.
While guiding the state team meeting of the campaign at the state BJP headquarters on Monday, State General Secretary (Organization) Dharampal Singh said that the BJP will respond to the opposition's baseless protests through the Save Democracy-Remove Anarchy campaign.
Singh said that the BJP will organize padyatras in all six regions.
"Through these padyatras, the party will expose the opposition's anti-national politics, dangerous agenda of regime change, and dangerous plans to destabilize the country, and will unite the public through national unity, constitutional values, social harmony, and civic duties," he said.
He said that a large number of BJP officials, public representatives, front-cell officials, saints, Mahatmas, businessmen, teachers, lawyers, doctors, various social and religious organizations, BJP workers and local citizens will take out a padyatra "with the roar of democracy and the resolve to defeat anarchy".
He said that the padyatra of Awadh region will start in Lucknow on November 3. The padyatra of Kashi region will start in Prayagraj on November 4 and the padyatra of Gorakhpur region will start in Gorakhpur on November 4.
The padyatra of Kanpur-Bundelkhand region will start in Kanpur on November 4 and the padyatra of West region will start in Ghaziabad and Brij region on November 5 in Bareilly.
In the meeting, State General Secretary and campaign coordinator Dilip Patel discussed in detail the preparations for the campaign.
Notably, the BJP has officially announced a massive, month-long nationwide youth outreach and foot-march campaign titled "Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy" (Arajakta Hatao, Loktantra Bachao), in states like Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Haryana, in a direct political counter-offensive against the INDIA Bloc's scheduled mega rally on November 1 at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
The opposition alliance has been aggressively protesting against the Election Commission of India (ECI), alleging severe discrepancies in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, and has demanded the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over what they label as "vote chori" (vote theft).
