BJP women workers submit complaint against Congress workers over alleged misconduct

New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) BJP Mahila Morcha workers submitted a formal complaint against some Congress workers, alleging that they were subjected to alleged indecent behavior by them during a protest staged near grand old party's headquarters on Tuesday.
The BJP workers along with MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat met Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central District, Rohit Rajbir Singh and submitted the complaint, demanding action against the Congress workers, who they claim were identified in the video attached with their complaint.
Speaking to the media after submitting the complaint, Sehrawat alleged that the misconduct by the Congress workers towards Mahila Morcha workers clearly reflected the values they had imbibed from their leader, Rahul Gandhi.
She alleged that the manner in which Congress leader Rahul Gandhi pushed a pregnant journalist on Monday and, even earlier, behaved inappropriately with women police personnel was utterly unacceptable and unbecoming of any educated individual who upholds Sanatan values.
The women BJP leaders were accompanied by Advocate Sanket Gupta, and Delhi BJP spokesperson Yasir Jilani and Mahila Morcha General Secretary Suman Lata Dagar.
They apprised DCP central of the details regarding the alleged incident and indecent behaviour by Congress workers.
Advocate Gupta said that the kind of behaviour which was displayed by Congress workers, particularly their media coordinator, towards these women constituted a punishable offence.
He added that in the complaint submitted with the police, it has been requested that a case be registered under Sections 74, 75, 79, 115(2), 131 and 296 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and an investigation be conducted, followed by appropriate legal action. UNI AP CDS
