Madhuri Dixit and Sonali Bendre to share the screen for the first time on ‘Kon Honaar Crorepati’

Mumbai, Oct 9 (UNI) Two familiar faces from Hindi cinema, Madhuri Dixit and Sonali Bendre, will share a television stage for the first time when Sonali appears on the grand premiere of Marathi quiz show "Kon Honaar Crorepati".
The quiz show will start from Monday, October 12. Dixit will be seen hosting the show this time, while Sonali Bendre will be the first guest of the grand premiere. The show will be telecast at 9 pm on Sony Marathi and Sony Liv.
Dixit and Bendre have never worked together in a film in their long film careers. Therefore, their first appearance together on stage will be special for their fans. The question-and-answer session will feature film memories, humour, and discussions on various aspects of their personal lives.
In this episode, Bendre will perform for the Happy Pet Foundation. She will discuss her passion for animals, her efforts to care for them and their welfare, as well as her "Happy Podcast." The conversation will also raise the issue of household responsibilities. Sonali will reveal that her mother-in-law doesn't allow her to work in the kitchen.
Dixit expressed her happiness about opening the show with Bendre, saying that while they haven't worked together in a film yet, they are thrilled to have the opportunity to reunite on this platform. She added that sharing the screen with Bendre is a special experience for her.
Bendre expressed her happiness at launching Dixit's show, saying she has always been a fan of hers. According to Sonali, Dixit's warm and cordial approach to people makes her a good host. She also praised Dixit's acting and dancing.
Bendre explained that Dixit's younger son and her son attend the same school, so they often meet. However, the opportunity to appear together on screen has only now arisen. She also expressed her desire to work with Dixit in the future.
In this special episode of "Kon Honaar Crorepati", filled with sports, entertainment and social concerns, the audience will get a chance to know the unseen memories of both the actresses and interesting aspects of their lives.
