Richa Chadha takes viewers beyond Mumbai’s familiar landmarks with ‘Musafiri’

Mumbai, Sep 25 (UNI) Actress Richa Chadha’s new show Musafiri, which looks at Mumbai through its history, culture and lesser-known stories, began streaming with its first episode today.
The opening episode travels through South Mumbai, exploring the heritage of Kala Ghoda and its unexpected connection with Hollywood star Kim Kardashian. Chadha will also share information about Mumbai's origins and the deities associated with the city, especially Goddess Mahalakshmi.
The episode will also feature a glimpse of one of Mumbai's oldest Armenian churches, along with a glimpse into the history of the Gateway of India and the reason behind its construction. She will be seen exploring the city from a personal and unique perspective as she navigates the city's narrow lanes and rides in a local taxi.
The 39-year-old actress said, "There are so many stories of Mumbai that we grew up with, but we never stopped to explore and understand them. Through 'Musafiri,' I wanted to explore and share these unique and unheard aspects of the city with people. I hope that even people who have spent their entire lives in Mumbai will see the city from a different perspective and feel like they are discovering a new Mumbai."
As host and producer, the "Fukrey" actress will go beyond the famous places and reveal the lesser-known parts and stories of Mumbai.
The first episode of "Musafiri" was streamed this evening on their YouTube channel 'Full Stop'. After this, a new story of Mumbai will be brought to the audience every week. UNI NST SS
