Rupali Ganguly gets emotional after sharing stage with Anil Kapoor

Mumbai, Oct 22 (UNI) Actress Rupali Ganguly has said that sharing the stage with actor Anil Kapoor made her feel that her late father and filmmaker Anil Ganguly must be smiling in heaven.
Ganguly recently appeared on 'India Ke Top 1% - The Anil Kapoor Show', where she shared memories related to her father. Anil Ganguly had directed Anil Kapoor in the 1985 film "Saheb".
Ganguly said that she never imagined that one day she would share the stage with Kapoor, one of her father's favourite actors.
Praising Kapoor's energy, grace and dedication towards acting, she said that she learned from him the importance of preparing and rehearsing every scene.
She said that her father had seen Kapoor's film "Woh Saat Din" before casting him in the film "Saheb". The innocence and sensitivity of his acting in it had left a deep impression on him.
Remembering her father, the 49-year-old actress said he was an honest, simple, and principled man. She learned from him that work can have ups and downs, but one should never compromise on one's dignity and values as a human being.
Rupali also revealed that the film "Saheb," directed by her father, was shot in just 23 days. Sharing memories of her father with the "Mr India" actor was an emotional and memorable experience.
